Attendance is a payroll-support system: staff clock in and out using a face, fingerprint or card terminal, and software turns that log into late/early/attendance reports for HR. It is not a security system in itself — it exists to answer "who was here, and when."
Because the recognition hardware overlaps with Door Access (the same face terminal hardware can run either job), dealers should confirm with the end customer whether the requirement is payroll reporting (Attendance) or entry permission (Door Access) — sometimes both, on separate terminals.
